Troubleshooting: Bundle-Track
closes if Not Responding for a while.
On Windows XP machines, the Power Schemes settings may cause the
hard drive to shut down after a given period of inactivity. It will
do this even if applications are running, if those applications
are in the 'Not Responding' state,
as a properly functioning Bundle-Track system sometimes is.
If your WinXP system is not giving Bundle-Track enough time, you
should disable automatic harddrive shutdown:
- Right-click on the Desktop and select Properties.
- In the Properties window, click the Screen Saver tab.
- On the Screen Saver tab, click the Power... button.
- In the Power Options Properties window, click the Power Schemes
tab.
- On the Power Schemes tab, set the Power Schemes dropdown
to 'Always On'.
- Click OK to close the Power Options Properties window.
- Click OK to close the Properties window.
