Troubleshooting:
"Unknown Database. Your user name
..."
| Unknown Database. Your user name and password
are not defined. Ask your administrator to set up an InterBase
login. Alias: FactoryData. |
Note: there are other errors beginning
with "Unknown Database." Make sure yours matches the
one above.
Typically, this error indicates either of the following:
- the UserID you have entered is not known to InterBase (the
database system), or
- the Password you have entered is not correct for that UserID.
If you are sure that you are typing a valid User Name and Password
with proper capitalization (these fields are case-sensitive) check
for the following problems:
- Your keyboard's Caps Lock function may be modifying the case
of your keystrokes.
- Your keyboard's Num Lock function may be engaged and converting
keystrokes on letter keys into numbers and symbols.
If you are still unable to log in, ask your Bundle-Track administrator
to make sure that your UserID is defined in the InterBase Users
list. You may also need the administator to reset your Password.
