Gen. Ref.: Tracking
Stages and Tracking Sequences
Less specific
than individual Operations,
Tracking Stages describe the phases of assembly.
By assigning
routing steps
to Tracking Stages, you enable Bundle-Track's Production
Tracking Reports to give you a meaningful production status
overview in terms of the number of production units last scanned
under each Tracking Stage.
For example,
the Lot Tracking
Summary report simulated below shows that tickets representing
200 units from Lot 1213 were recently scanned for operations under
a Tracking Stage called 'Finishing.' It also shows that there have
been no tickets scanned for 100 units in that Lot (so they register
as Not Started), and the last step ticket has been scanned for 550
units (so they register as Completed).

Even when two
products have different assembly steps, as illustrated below, if
they go through the same phases of assembly, their production status
can be described in terms of the same Tracking Stages, and so they
can be charted together on the same Tracking
Report table.

Tracking Sequences
Of course, some products may go through different phases than others,
so Bundle-Track lets you define any number of Tracking Stages and
arrange them in any number of Tracking Sequences. The Tracking
Reports present a separate crosstab for each Tracing Sequence.
