Setup: Token
Directory for Windows 98
Procedure
- Create a new directory called 'BT Token'.
- Place it anywhere in your local network, in a location accessible
by your Bundle-Track Client machines.
- Make BT Token open for reading and writing by your Bundle-Track
Clients:
- Right-click on that directory and select 'Sharing'.
- Click the 'Shared As' option.
Change
the capitalization of the 'Share Name' name from 'BT TOKEN'
to 'BT Token'.
- Under Access Type, click 'Full.'
- Leave the Passwords blank.
- Click the 'Apply' button.
- Click the 'OK' button.
- Identify the Network Path:
- Using Windows Explorer, open the Network Neighborhood area
(near the bottom of the Folders window).
- In that area, locate the listing for the machine on which
you created the new BT Token directory, and open it.
- To do this, you may first need to open the Entire Network
area, and then a server group under that.
- Under that machine, locate the 'BT Token' directory (in
the Folders window on the left, not in the other window on
the right), and click ONCE on it.
- Note the network path now listed in the Address bar (near
the top of Windows Explorer). It should be something like
"\\ServerName\BT Token".
If
you don't see an Address Bar in Windows Explorer, you
may need to turn it on: Use the menu to select View \
Toolbars \ Address Bar.
- Tell us the network path:
- Use the contact information at the top right of this page.
