Directory
What is it?
The Token directory is a shared directory on the local area network
that Bundle-Track Network Edition
Clients use to check in and check out of license control to manage
the number of User Seats (Bundle-Track
Clients) running at any given moment. Every client executable
you receive from us has your own Token path encoded into it.
Where is it?
The location of that directory is chosen by the Customer,
so it may be different for each of you. If you contact us and ask,
we can usually tell you the path to your own Token directoy, by
phone or email. You may need to know the path to resolve Network
License Usage Exceeded errors.
Token Directory Setup
You can probably prepare a Token Directory in under 10 minutes.
Procedure:
Please select the procedure for your edition of Windows.
Maintenance
Please note that if you later change the network path to your Token
Directory, you will need us to provide you with a new executable
with the updated Token Path encoded into it. Otherwise, you will
encounter an error when you try to
connect again.
