Setup: Ticket Printer Object Properties for Windows 2000

Open the Printers area: >> Settings >> Printers

Right-click on the Printer Object and make sure that 'Set as Default' is checked.

Right-click on the Printer Object, select Properties to open the Properties panel, and put the following settings in place:

• General (tab)
  • Printing Preferences (button)
    • Layout
      • Advanced
        • Paper/Output (area)
          • Paper Size: Fanfold 8.5 x 12 in (if not listed, see Create a New Form)
        • Graphic (area)
          • Print Quality: 120 x 72 dots per inch
             
• Advanced (tab) (click here for image in new window)
  • Driver:
    • for all impact printers or dot-matrix printers, regardless of model, select Epson FX-1050.
    • for all laser printers, use the printer's own recommended driver.
  • Spool print documents so program finishes printing faster (set this button)
    • Start printing immediately (set this button)
  • Print spooled documents first (check this box)
  • Enable advanced printing features (check this box)
  • Print Processor (button)
    • WinPrint: RAW
       
• Device Settings (tab)
  • Form to Tray Assignment (area)
    • Tractor Feed: Fanfold 8.5 x 12 in

Click OK to close the Properties panel.

Right-click on the Printer Object, select Document Defaults, and put the following settings in place:

• Paper/Output
  • Paper Size: Fanfold 8.5 x 12
     
• Graphics
  • Resolution: 120 x 72
