    If you are confident that your Ticket Printer Object Properties are properly configured, you probably need to adjust the printer's print head. (A new printer ribbon will often print heavy for a while until it 'breaks in'.)

    Adjusting the printer's print head
    Most impact printers have a control arm for moving the print head closer or farther from the paper surface. Try adjusting the position a little at a time (between 1/10th and 1/4 of the arm's full range). If you find that your adjustment makes the printer lock up, try moving the arm the other way, because depending on the printer's "elliptical", the control may move the head in a manner opposite of what you expected.
