General Reference: Readying ISQL for use

This article applies only to Bundle-Track versions 3.6 and higher.

Procedure:

1. Start IB Console.
   • If you don't know how to start IB Console, click here to learn, and then return.
      
2. Log into the Server as the administrator.
   • You are logged in when there is a green check on the Server icon.
   • If you don't know how to log in, click here to learn, and then return.
      
3. Locate the Database
   • If you have registered the database, you should see it listed under the server (as shown in the figure at right).
     
   • If the database is not listed, it has not been registered. You must register it now (with this procedure) and then return here.
      
4. Double-click on the database to connect to it.
   • You are connected when there is a green check on the icon.
      
5. Open ISQL.
   • Click on the SQL button at the top of the screen.  

The Interactive SQL panel is then ready for you to run or execute a Query or Script or Statement or Command.
