Troubleshooting:
"General SQL error. File <database
filepath> is not a valid database."
| General SQL error. File <database filepath>
is not a valid database. Alias: FactoryData. |
Note. There are other errors that begin
with "General SQL error." This article addresses those
indicating "not a valid database".
Typically, this error indicates that the database
filepath set in Bundle-Track Links does point to a valid filename,
but that file is not a valid database file.
Resolution steps:
- Make sure that you have Bundle-Track Links pointing to a database
file (ending in .gdb or .ib), not a backup file (ending in .gbk).
- Check the database file's filesize. If it's the same as your
backup file, then you've probably mistakenly renamed a .gbk
file as a .gdb file. You'll need to restore
from backup.
