Support: Databases: Sending us your Database by FTP

VERY IMPORTANT: Never move or copy your database while your InterBase Server is running - un-recoverable data corruption may result. To safely deliver your database, please follow all instructions below.

1. Make a backup file of your database. Click here for the procedure.
    
2. Compress the new .gbk file into a .zip file.
   This will greatly reduce the upload time.
    
3. Post the new .zip file by FTP. Click here for the procedure.
