    If your login is failing and you've ruled out the "Unknown database ..." errors and Terminal Services issues, it may be that there is a misconfiguration issue around your BDE aliases and ODBC aliases (possibly due to a recent software installation). You can confirm this by opening the BDE Administrator and looking at the icons by the BT30600PROD and BT30600TEST aliases.
