    Error 336330817

    Detail Message:
    Cannot open backup file <path>

    Typically, this error is encountered when the user initiates a Restore (in IB Console) if the file path set in the Backup File Filename(s) field does not point to a valid filename.

    • In IB Console's Database Restore panel, if the Alias field lists an alias (instead of 'File ...'), then IB Console is trying to find a backup file having a specific file name and location - the same filename and location that was assigned to this alias the last time you used it. If you are getting the error above, this indicates that there is no backup file by that name in that location. Perhaps the file has been renamed or moved to another folder. You must either return the backup file to the expected location and name, or set the Alias field to 'File ...' and lead IB Console to the desired backup file at its new location and name.
