Troubleshooting: "Error 2108: InterBase cannot initialize the database"
Typically, this error indicates that the BDE has been corrupted. This can be caused by the uninstallation of another program that used the BDE, if that program's uninstallation wizard removes shared BDE components. WordPerfect uninstalls are known to do this.
